As Expected
Mar. 20th, 2011 03:51 pmI know, mentally, that it takes time to learn a new skill and what not. Most people can't just pick up on something and BLA-DAM!, play Switchfoot the next day. And yes, I'll admit, I haven't practiced with this guitar as much as I could.
My own laziness for that one, and there are other things I can already do rather than something I can't.
There are at least 60 chords for this, different finger positions produce different chords. There are 60...
And I previously did not realize this would be painful and make me feel remedial. Fretting the chords, taking the tips of the sensitive fingers to the metalic wires, hurts. I'm not getting callouses fast enough.
A musical prodigy, I ain't.
I need a teacher. I need some discipline. I hate the F'ing F chord, bloody, little, stupid, evil...I can do five, but it takes me five minutes to transition from one chord to the next.

I'm going to neglect any kind of school work for the Spring Break and work on this thing. I will get that F'ing F chord if it's the last thing I do while sane.
I was going to say something else, but for the life of me, I cannot remember. I hate when that happens.
P.S. I'm in Mama's living room, bwahahahaha! That's a big deal at my house...like, almost illegal. This couch is so comfy *U*
